Mains

• Nikita Mears, Alexandra Udinov, Michael Bishop and Seymour Birkhoff are the only characters credited for all 73 episodes, but only Birkhoff doesn't appear in all of them (64).
• Amanda is credited for 70 episodes and appears in 54. She is not credited as a main character for "3.0", "Innocence" and "True Believer" and does not appear, therefore she is absent from 16 episodes not 19.
  • She is the only character who stopped being a regular without dying, but also the only to be reinstated back to regular status.
• Percy is the character with the least number (3) of credited absences, even though Birkhoff and Amanda appear in more episodes overall than him. He was credited for the first 45 episodes, appearing in 42 of them.
• Jaden and Thom are the only main characters to appear in just one season.
• Sean is the recurring character with the least appearances to be upgraded to regular. He appeared in just 5 episodes before the upgrade, compared to Owen (7 appearances) and Ryan (11 appearances.
  • Sean and Owen are upgraded during the season (2x08 and 3x04 respectively) while Ryan is upgraded from the (third) season premiere.
• Out of 11 main characters, six have survived the show (excluding the temporary deaths such as Nikita and Alex in "Pandora") .
  • At least one main character dies per season: Thom and Jaden in the first, Percy in the second, Sean in the third and Ryan in the fourth season.
    • Only Percy dies in the season finale. The rest die in the middle of the season and are not credited after their deaths.
      • The only exceptions are Thom and Ryan who appear as hallucinations one episode after their deaths and are still credited as main characters.

Recurring

• Out of the recurring characters, Sonya and Roan are the only ones to appear in at least third of the episodes with Sonya appearing in 56% and Roan 32% of episodes.
  • Despite never being a main character and being introduced in the second season, Sonya appears in more total episodes than five series regulars: Ryan, Sean, Owen, Jaden and Thom.
• Sonya also appears in more episodes in the second season and third season than some series regulars.
  • In the second season she appears in more episodes (19) than mains Birkhoff, Amanda (both 18) and Sean (15).
  • In the third season she appears in more episodes (18) than Amanda (14), Sean (12) and Owen (11) and is tied with Ryan.
• In the fourth season, а recurring character Phillip Jones appears in all episodes just like all seven main characters.
• Only the ENN Newscaster appears in all four seasons although she appears briefly in all her ten episodes.
  • If we count the more important recurring characters, the closest are Sonya and Kathleen Spencer who don't appear in the first season, and Ari Tasarov who doesn't appear in the final season.
• Only six recurring characters appear in over at least ten episodes: ENN Newscaster (10), Phillip Jones and Kathleen Spencer (11 each), Ari Tasarov (17), Roan (23) and Sonya (41).
  • Only Roan, Ari and ENN Newscaster appeared in the first season.
