Plot[]
In Quebec City, the Energy Minister is gunned down by an unknown motorist while on a date. The person who claims responsibility is an anarchist named Ramon. Nikita recognizes him, having captured him in Paris six years and handed him over to Division instead of killing him. But, according to the black box, in Operation Knightfall, Ramon was released to perform kills on behalf of Division. Knowing that Nisha Patel is a Division agent acting as a reporter revealing Ramon's videos, they decide to go after her.
At Division, Amanda congratulates Ramon on the hit, before Alex enters. Amanda offers her a Division assignment. The target is Anton Kochenko, who formerly worked for Alex's father as a low-level thug, and attempting to extend Zetrov's corporate power. Since he's Zetrov's public liaison, taking him out would slow Zetrov and force his boss Sergei Semak to make more public appearances; thus it'd be a win-win for both of them. In Quebec City, Michael makes contact with Nisha, before allowing himself to be knocked out by her. As she calls Division, Birkhoff intercepts her call and tricks her into revealing Ramon's location before Nikita hits her with a sedative or poison. Tracking Ramon to Colombia, Nikita and Michael attempt to infiltrate the Division safehouse while Birkhoff is at home hacking satellites to watch them. At Division, Alex looks up Kochenko. Flashing back to when she was twelve, Kochenko catches young Alexandra Udinov listening to music that her father forbids her from listening to. He blackmails her to give the new code for the back door in exchange for not informing her father about her music. In doing so, Division is allowed to enter to kill her family. In the present, Sean advises Alex not to go directly after Kochenko, for his bodyguards are Gogol and former Spetnaz. He tells her to use a sniper rifle to maintain emotional distance. Division's new technician, Sonia, informs Amanda about Nikita and Michael's search for Ramon. Back in Colombia, Nikita spots Ramon wheelchair bound. She realizes that Ramon makes the confession videos while Division handles the kills. Therefore, she decides to go in to capture and send him to the proper authorities and catches him recording a video for Kochenko's soon-to-be death. Alex goes undercover as a magazine photographer for Kochenko's public appearance and sets up a sniper position. Nikita once against confronts Ramon. Ramon reveals to her that Percy told him that he'd be making it look like he was committing assassinations, which it'd be in fact Division. When Ramon that he'd be the one to deliver the kills, Percy shot him in the spine, paralyzing him. Blaming Nikita for his condition, he gets the drop on her and attempts to escape while his guards try catching her. Michael stays behind to buy her time while she chases Ramon. She ultimately catches Ramon again, but not before Amanda informs her that her men have Michael cornered in a closet. Worse, she has dropped a jamming field around the safehouse, preventing anyone from seeing anything from space or communicating. Knowing that Amanda wants to trade for Ramon so he can take credit for Kochenko's death, Nikita threatens to expose what Ramon really is by uploading his video to the press before the hit, which she sends to Birkhoff. Amanda mocks Nikita's crusade against Division before demanding that she kill Ramon. To make her threat valid, she reveals that she has a Predator drone en route to destroy it. At the same time, Amanda orders Alex to wait for her orders. Birkhoff informs Nikita that he can't hack the jamming field or the drone. But he remembers that Michael is locked in a saferoom, which has a blackline that can call to anywhere on the outside and Ramon may know it. But Ramon refuses to cooperate, blaming her again for what's happened to him and insists that she finish the mission she started all those years ago and kill him. Nikita refuses, knowing that Amanda will not honor her side of the deal. Ramon lists out Nikita,s file, revealing that he knows everything about her. They start arguing before Ramon goads her into killing him. But she refrains from doing so, leaving her gun with him and races to save Michael while sending Amanda a blank file. As Michael scavenges through the place for any useful items, he hears a phone ringing. It is Ramon, who informs him of the shelter's underground exit. Michael takes it before the safehouse is destroyed. Nikita assumes that he is dead, before he climbs out of the tunnel. Michael then smugly tells Amanda that she has failed. The premature release of Ramon's video causes doubt on whether he is actually behind the assassinations. Alex is ordered to abort, but she takes the shot. |
