Doctor Loren Tolcher was one of The Shop's doctors. He is the one who invented nanotoxin.
Season Three[]
Nikita and Michael took him from Kobalt River to Division. Nikita gave him the red injection. He told them everything he knows. That moment, Amanda activated the trigger thus killing him. Later, Birkhoff found out that Amanda has place a bug in his ear. That is the reason why she knew the exact moment when to trigger the toxin.
In the following episode it was revealed that he based his work on Doctor Kang's research.
