Plot[]
In Van, Turkey, a blond woman is scrambling through a crowd before being cornered by the police. The woman quickly disarms and kills the officers before stealing their van.
At Division, Sonia informs Amanda that the woman, Kelly, officially presumed dead, has turned up. Amanda orders a cleaner crew to be dispatched, knowing that Nikita would go after her old partner. At Birkhoff's, news of Kelly's sudden reappearance has everyone shocked. According to the black box, on Operation: Broken Eagle, she was logged as KIA. Nikita remembers being teamed up with Kelly when they were both Division. They were to cross the Turkish-Armenian border but Niktia used the mission to fake her death. And Kelly got captured when she tries to complete the mission, assuming Nikita dead. Desiring to put things right, Nikita decides to rescue Kelly. At Division, Amanda is none too happy with Alex taking the shot at Anton Kochenko when she was ordered to abort. However, she understands Alex's motivations and decides to give her a second chance by tracking down Kelly in exchange for any vulnerable locations on Sergei Semak. Meanwhile, Semak summon Gregor and Ari Tasarov, both his Zetrov subordinates to inquire why anyone would kill Kochenko and assigns Ari to do the investigating. As Gregor protests that he can handle the investigations on his own, Semak shoots him in the head and tells Ari he's promoted. Ari then tells Semak his suspicions that Division was involved to slow Zetrov's expansion. Semak doesn't believe it, as Percy would not condone such a move without revealing the American government's involvement. Alex converses with Sonia to guess Kelly's next move. She suspects that Kelly must have some backup documents in order to flee Turkey and narrows down an abandoned Division safehouse. Roan approaches her, eager to go on this mission and get revenge on Nikita for what she did to his face. Amanda goes down to see Percy, who had just heard the news about Kelly. But Percy can guess that she has come to him to talk about Alex's impatience in taking the fight to Semak. As her cell rings, Percy advises that she come back down again for tea to discuss Semak. As Kelly enters her safehouse and grabs her necessary itinerary, her cell rings. It's Nikita, advising her to meet her in the park near parliament at night. Later at night, Michael thinks he spots Kelly hiding in the bushes but it's a trick, as Kelly ambushes Nikita, demanding all the papers she cleaned out of the safehouse. Nikita briefly tussles with her old partner before Michael arrives. Kelly is hesitant to trust Nikita after being betrayed once, before Birkhoff informs them that police are on their way. Michael sets off a diversion to draw the police away while Nikita and Kelly steal one police car. But Alex isn't fooled and tells Sonia to track any police vehicle's GPS that may stray from the pursuit. They got one. Once they arrive at a baggage storage at the train station in Eskeshir, Kelly gives Nikita a punch across the face as payback for being led to believe that she was dead. As Kelly starts throwing accusations at her, Nikita admits that she's not looking for forgiveness. She and Kelly then put on disguises as French women to board the train to Istanbul. Meanwhile, Michael, having ditched his sports car and stealing a Volkswagon, is on call with Birkhoff, who doesn't trust Kelly. Michael can slightly agree, remembering how quiet Kelly was when she came to Division before bonding with Nikita. As they get on the train, Nikita asks Kelly how she escaped prison. The latter claims that when she was being escorted back to her cell, another guard got hurt, causing the other guards to forget to lock her cell door. She then asks Nikita why she and Michael aren't in hiding. Nikita explains that she plans to retire once Division is defeated. Outside, Alex and Roan get on the train, knowing that their quarry would not be able to escape. Ari is questioning one of the workers who was present at the time of Kochenko's death. The worker describes one female photographer of Alex's description. Interesting thing Ari finds is that there were no press passes issued for female photographers. Birkhoff alerts Nikita to Alex and Roan's presence onboard the train. The two ex-Division agent run for their lives, but only make it as far as the dining car. Though Kelly believe that they can take their pursuers but Nikita won't allow her to hurt Alex. Therefore, after evacuating the dining car and having a small fight, they forced to jump from the train. Alex calls Sonia to locate any restaurants or gas stations nearby. As the two women arrive at a restaurant, Nikita calls Michael, who arranges to meet at the Istanbul docks. As Kelly goes in the restaurant, under the pretense to fix her wig, she steals a phone and calls Ari. Apparently, they have an agreement to locate the black box in Nikita's possession in exchange for Kelly's freedom. But when she informs Ari of Nikita's desire to protect a Division agent, which strikes him as curious, and gives a description, Ari realizes who she is and changes her order to capture Alex. As Nikita steals a car, Kelly punctures the rear tire. As they drive, Kelly inquires about Alex. Nikita admits that Alex was her partner and mole in Division but she wanted to protect her from dangerous secrets and it resulted in her estrangement. Kelly describes Nikita as controlling. While having tea with Percy, he tells her that he can guess that she's intending to have Alex as her puppet at Zetrov. If Alex does kill Semak, she will need help in regaining control of Zetrov. In fact, some of Nikolai Udinov's inner circle "disappeared" after his death. Amanda becomes curious as to his motives. Percy asks for more clothes than his white prison one. Back at the restaurant, Alex finds Kelly's wig. She and Roan then overhear a woman complaining about her missing cellphone. Meanwhile, the tire in Nikita's stolen car finally deflates. As Kelly goes to scout a lookout, Nikita calls Michael before finding the tire puncture. She then finds the cellphone and hears Ari's voice on the other end, promising that a strike team is on the way. When Kelly returns, Nikita draws her gun on her old partner, forcing her to confess about her deal with Gogol. Nikita then forces Kelly into the trunk of the car before locking her in. Alex and Roan later arrive, unaware that they are being targeted by Gogol. Roan holds off the Gogol agents while Alex makes a run for it, only to be captured by Kelly, who had somehow got out of the trunk, either with Gogol's help or by herself. Kelly then attempts to force Nikita out of hiding by threatening to shoot Alex. Nikita reminds her that Ari wants Alex brought in alive, so Kelly decides to kill her old partner instead. As Michael arrives on the scene and shoots the remaining Gogol agents, Alex attempts to disarm Kelly, only to be punched the grounds. Before Kelly can take the shot at her, Nikita is forced to kill her. Alex soon panics, fearing that Gogol knows who she really is. Nikita offers to protect Alex but she sarcastically retorts if she's going to shoot her again. Nikita apologizes for not telling her the truth about her father's death in the first place. Alex decides to go back to Division who can protect against Semak. As Division reinforcements close in, Alex lets Nikita and Michael go. At Birkhoff's, Michael tells Nikita that she couldn't have known that Kelly would turn on her. Nikita tells Michael that she wanted to tell Alex the truth as well as protect her. On the plus side, Michael points out that Alex let them go, so that's a sign. Alex returns to Division and informs Amanda about Division targeting her. Amanda promises her that all of Division will help her against Semak. Ari brings news of Alex's survival to Semak. This alarms his boss, who orders Ari to ensure that Alex is killed so that she cannot reclaim Zetrov. |
