Tipping Point is the sixteenth episode of Season Three and the sixty-first episode overall.
Synopsis[]
A VIOLENT MUTINY ROCKS DIVISION - Nikita and Michael learn of a new prosthetic hand that could have Michael back to his old self, but it comes at a steep price. Meanwhile, Alex and Sean are tasked with investigating who, inside Division, is behind a mutiny that ends in bloodshed. Aaron Stanford and Noah Bean also star.
Plot[]
Episode starts with Michael flirting with a front desk girl. He swipes her card and takes surveillance tapes. Michael has been tracking The Shop and Heidecker. Nikita and Michael go to the level that they think Heidecker's organization is on. Turns out it was a lure and there was a laptop message with a video of Heidecker. In exchange for surgery installing his hand, the Division team steals a prion.
Nikita, Michael, Birkhoff and Ryan debate the merits of pursuing the Shop's mission in exchange for the surgery and prosthetic hand services. Ryan says okay but
Sean tells Alex he's worried about her. Alex says as soon as she shows a backbone, everyone thinks Amanda did something to her. Alex is still upset that she didn't save Larissa when she was captured by Amanda.
Jason died on the mission despite volunteering. Rachel and Chris keep plotting and say that Jason's death was the best. Rachel bumps into Nikita and says "you're the reason we're all going to get out of here someday".
Nikita and While Michael is in Surgery, the Chinese attack and try to steal the Prion.
Ryan interrogates Rachel. Rachel mentions Tipping Point. Ryan realizes Alex is the ringleader. Alex shoots Ryan.
Dr Wong and another mysterious Shop person meet.

- Birkhoff made a reference to the 1999 horror comedy film, Idle Hands which stars Devon Sawa who plays Sam/Owen.
